SHANGHAI, Jul. 9 (SMM) – China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) Special Commissioner’s Office in Shanghai issued 171 export licenses for medium and heavy rare earths and 256 export licenses for light rare earths in H1 2015, cnmn. com reported.
These export licenses for medium and heavy rare earths represent 259.4 tonnes in quantity, soaring 202.4% year-on-year. The export licenses for light rare earths represent 1,592.2 tonnes in quantity, up 5.4% from a year ago, the media added.
